Foreword: This article only applies to calendars shared between two Google accounts. “Sharing” between a Google and an Outlook account does not work is just a subscription to a public, read-only .ics feed of your calendar. Subscribed .ics calendars are problematic because Google only updates them every 24 to 48 hours (at best).
CalendarBridge can only sync shared Google accounts if the calendar was shared such that the share recipient is permitted to view calendar details. Three examples will help illustrate:
Example 1 (shared with ability to edit):
Sharon@Gmail.com has shared her primary calendar (“sharon@gmail.com”) with cheri@gmail.com.
The sharing permissions are “Make changes to events” or “Make changes and manage sharing.”
In this case, the CalendarBridge can sync to and from the calendar “sharon@gmail.com” when accessing it via the cheri@gmail.com Google account.
Example 2 (shared with ability to view details):
Sharon@Gmail.com has shared her primary calendar (“sharon@gmail.com”) with Cheri@gmail.com.
The sharing permissions are “See all event details”
In this case, CalendarBridge can only sync from (not to) the calendar “sharon@gmail.com” when accessing it via the cheri@gmail.com Google account. This is indicated by a red “Read only” icon next to the calendar in the drop down menu of the “Select source calendar” step. The calendar will not show up in the dropdown menu of the “Select destination calendar” step.
Example 3 (shared with only free/busy):
Sharon@Gmail.com has shared her primary calendar (“sharon@gmail.com”) with cheri@gmail.com.
The sharing permissions are “free/busy (no details)”
In this case, the calendar “sharon@gmail.com” is not available for syncing when trying to access it via the cheri@gmail.com Google account. The calendar will not show up in the list of calendars for the cheri@gmail.com Google Account.
