Deletes/edits of events are not syncing

If edits or deletes are not syncing, first make sure you are editing the original event on the source calendar — event copies should be treated as read-only.

The first thing to check is to make sure you are editing the original event on the source calendar, because event copies created by CalendarBridge should be treated as read-only — editing or deleting an event copy will not sync back to the original event on the source calendar.

If you are sure you have edited or deleted the source event (and not a copy CalendarBridge created) please log into the calendar in a web browser (e.g., outlook.office.com or calendar.google.com) and see if the edit/delete is reflected there. If so, then the issue is a local device sync issue. Make sure you have an internet connection, that your calendar app is up to date, etc.

If you are sure you have edited or deleted a source event and the edit or delete is not reflected in the calendar when viewed in a browser, then there are a few things that could cause the issue. In most cases the issue will resolve in no less than 24 hours. If you need the issue resolved sooner, you can resync the connection.
