Charge for Bookings with Paid Scheduling Links
Put a price on any scheduling link. Invitees pay through Stripe before the meeting lands on your calendar, and the money goes straight to you.
Scheduling links now take payments. Connect your own Stripe account, set a price on a link, and every booking is paid for before it is confirmed. CalendarBridge takes no cut, and refunds follow a policy you choose, so you can stop chasing invoices for consultations, coaching sessions, tutoring, and office hours.
Why charge at the moment of booking
If you sell your time, the booking is the sale. Collecting payment afterwards means invoices, reminders, and the occasional no-show who never pays at all. Asking for a card up front fixes all three at once: the person booking commits, you know the slot is real, and the money is already on its way before you open the meeting link.
Until now that meant a separate payment page, a manual check that the payment matched the booking, or a third-party tool bolted onto your calendar. Paid scheduling links fold the whole thing into the booking flow you already use.
You are the seller, not us
Payments run through your own Stripe account. CalendarBridge never holds your customers' money and takes no cut of it. Payouts arrive in your bank on your Stripe schedule, receipts go out under your business name, and refunds, disputes, and tax are yours in the same way they would be if you had sent the invoice yourself. Stripe's normal processing fee applies, and nothing else.
You connect once. After that you can price as many links as you like, each with its own amount, currency, and refund policy.
Setting it up is one extra step
Open Schedulers, click Edit on a link, and scroll to Step 6, Payments. It is optional, and a link with payments switched off behaves exactly as it always has.
- Connect Stripe. Stripe opens in a new tab where you sign in to an existing account or create one. Your work in the editor is kept, and when the connection finishes you land back where you were.
- Turn on Charge to book this link and set the amount and currency. If the link offers more than one meeting length, you can price each length separately. A length you leave blank uses the main price, so nothing is ever accidentally free.
- Choose a refund policy. Always refund, never refund, or refund only if they cancel before a cutoff you set. The policy is shown to invitees before they pay and applied automatically when they cancel.
One rule is fixed: if you cancel, the invitee is always refunded in full, whatever policy you picked. That holds even if you cancel by deleting the meeting straight from your own calendar. Keeping someone's money for a meeting you called off is the quickest route to a chargeback, and a chargeback lands on your Stripe account, not ours.
What your invitees see
The price appears on the booking page before anyone commits to anything. When they continue, they go to a secure Stripe payment page, and once the payment succeeds they come back to a short confirmation while the meeting is added to your calendar and the invitation goes out.
The meeting is only created after the payment succeeds. Someone who abandons the payment page is not charged and nothing appears on your calendar. Stripe emails them a receipt from your business, separately from the calendar invitation.
Which payment methods are offered is controlled in your Stripe dashboard, not in CalendarBridge. Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna, and whatever else you have enabled there are what your invitees are offered, subject to what Stripe supports in your country.
Cancellations and refunds run themselves
When an invitee cancels, the refund policy you chose is applied on the spot. Rescheduling never moves money. Refunds go back to the original payment method and typically take 5 to 10 business days to show on a statement. Every payment and refund is visible in your Stripe dashboard, which is also where you go if you ever need to refund something by hand.
Times are not reserved while someone is paying, so on a busy link two people can occasionally start paying for the same slot. If that happens, the second person is refunded in full automatically and asked to pick another time. No meeting is created and nothing lands on your calendar.
Full details: the Accept Payments for Bookings guide covers the setup step by step, along with troubleshooting for verification delays, missing payment methods, and refunds that have not arrived yet.
Rolling out now
Payments appear as Step 6 in the scheduler editor. If you do not see the step yet, it has not reached your account, and there is nothing to configure in the meantime. Everything else about your scheduling links is unchanged: availability, buffers, custom questions, reminder emails, and combined links all work exactly as before, with or without a price attached.
